Understanding Who We Are
I read New Testament completely and few books in Old testament, I want to share with you what I learned and Understood from what I read, felt and experienced.
First of all I will start with what we are before going to tell you about GOD.
Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods"'?
In the old testament where it is written that Jesus said that we are gods?
Psalms 82:6
“I said, ‘You are “gods”;you are all sons of the Most High."
So Jesus referred to that verse. So we are also gods, but how we became gods? Its clearly written in the scriptures, lets see.
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
So God created human in his likeness, in the beginning we don't have life then God sent his Spirit in to us so we have life.
Simply I would like to say that God created us,so we are also called Gods but not as equal to him,we are lesser than him,He is creator he is always with greater glory and in High Most Position,so he is HIGH MOST GOD.!
We had a glory as we are gods in the past but now we lost the glory as we have sinned, sinning, so in order to get back back our glory and make reunion with God Jesus Christ has left the throne and crucified for us with him we are also dead but now with resurrection we are reborn as children of God.
In the old testament the law is only to keep us away from sin that doesn't bring back our glory as it isn't sufficient for us to reunite with God. Only through the blood of Christ we are made clean and reunited with God.
That's the plan of the Creator to reunite us by cleansing us from the blood of Christ so we become Holy since it is written that only Holy people can see God, in the old testament it is clearly written that no one has seen God, but He(Jesus Christ) appeared in the flesh as Christ to redeem us.
So only through Christ we will be saved.!
